Growing up in New Orleans, Amanda was influenced by art at an early age. This attraction pushed her to earn a degree in fine arts with a focus on graphic design from Louisiana State University. She refined her talent while training abroad in Florence, Italy.

Amanda started her career as an art director in advertising, working at agencies in Dallas and Boulder. Currently, she and her husband run a small letterpress design shop in Denver that specializes in wedding and custom invitations.
