Timeline

Once you have set the date, location, and guest list, the invitation process begins.

6 months to go

• Appointment with a Scribbles Wedding Specialist
• Order save-the-dates

5 months to go

• Send out save-the-dates
• Finalize style and wording for all ordered invitations and other stationery products
• Review proofs and finalize guest list and addresses

4 months to go

• Order all products for the wedding, reception, and any other events
• Give out Scribbles wedding party coupons (we have coupons for your friends and family members who are throwing you wedding related parties!

3 months to go

• Receive all printed materials
• Send invites off to the calligrapher, if one is being used, to address the invitations
• Address invitations if a calligrapher is not being used
• Assemble all invitations

2 months to go

• Send out invitations!
• Organize and order all other printed materials   
  • Programs
  • Pew Cards
  • Within the ribbon cards
  • Favor Tags
  • Out-of-town guest information/welcome letters
  • Itineraries for the bridal parties and family
  • Bride and Groom post-wedding address cards

3 weeks to go

• All responses should be in, start making inquiries for guests who have not responded
• All materials for the wedding day should be in and ready to go

2 weeks to go

• Escort cards and seating chart completed and printed

1 weeks to go

• Escort cards, place cards and seating chart delivered to the venue
• Welcome packets and other guest information delivered to the hotels
• "Good Night" cards delivered to valet, if using them
• Wedding programs delivered to the Church or florist
